New York Times Endorses Hillary Clinton

Comments

Unfortunately, The New York Times has chosen to endorse Hillary. The rational goes on at great length about how ‘brilliant’ she is and what she is capable of. It doesn’t even mention the biggest problem detractors have with her: her trustworthiness and her willingness to sink to any depth for the nomination and the presidency. I am very surprised. I read the endorsement in great disbelief. I don’t know why people think that a dishonest person like her can hold a candle to someone as positive and inspiring as Barack Obama.

I just don’t even want to read this paper any more. I will never vote for Hillary Clinton, never. I think having a woman president would be a great thing. I would vote for Gabrielle Giffords in a heartbeat. But not Hillary Clinton. I’ve voted for democrats in every presidential election, but if she wins the nomination I will not vote for her. To me she represents everything that’s wrong with the Democratic party.

She’s incredibly, and thankfully, unlikely to win the presidency because almost half of America already dislike her severely (I am one of them). She is going to get destroyed by Republicans this year. The swift boat debacle of 2004 will seem like mild rebuke in comparison. How can she possibly win the general election when even democrats, a few including me who I know, do not like her. The only thing she’s brilliant at is faking some tears when she faced the prospect of failure. The day before the NH race it seemed like she had bag of tricks and kept pulling out one surprise after another.

If she wins the nomination we either face four more years of a Republican presidency, or another destructive and dishonest Clinton. I just want to tear my hair out. America’s future is not looking great. I really am not looking forward to eight more years of being unhappy with our leadership. How much of my life must be spent governed by politicians that are obviously unfit.
