I am signing up for life extension
I have the application from Alcor next to me. I talked with Ayako and while she disagrees with this decision, her disagreement is not severe, so I am going to go ahead with the application process.

The music performances on Glee wash away all the messy conflicts and weirdness of the characters. While the various stories and plot lines are interesting and often funny, when the music is on they fade into insignificant background noise. It’s hard for me to even consider the details of who’s mad at who in those moments of shiny lights and pretty voices.

For some reason the front page times new york times article is referencing the commencement speach at my University of Hawai’i graduation in 2004: ““Don’t know that you can’t fly, and you will soar like an eagle,” Earl E. Pretend like everything is going to be alright
I’ve had a small epiphany tonight as I was putting Julia to bed. I thought I should share it, if for nothing other than to remind myself of it should I forget. Although Julia is already about three and a half years old she still sleeps with Ayako and I on our futon. Every night since her birth she has fallen asleep in either Ayako’s arms or my own (or sometimes she falls asleep in the...
