Ok so I have been working on a project for a while now, and I am ready to tell people about it! It is called Karmerd. It is a place where you can give or take karma for anything at all! There is a lot of work left to do, and if you notice any bugs, please report them in comments below or send an email to bjorn - at - tipling - dot - com and I will personally check them out.

Also there’s an API! That’s right you can make your very own Karmerd widget or integrate it into your IRC bot or do whatever you want. Plans for the future include:

Customizable website badges
Wordpress plugin
Facebook Application
Iphone App
Charts
User registration with profiles and the ability follow users much like twitter
Improved API
Jabber protocol and Google Talk bot to IM and track
Keyword tracking
SMS integration

Many of these are long term plans and will take a while. I have also set up a dedicated wordpress.com blog for karmerd. Use it to keep track of new features. Anyhow, I hope you enjoy and use Karmerd!
